Recalculating & Tuning In

By Paula Renaye

I met a dynamic woman the other day who is superb at manifesting what she wants in her life. She's the first to tell you that she is blessed—she has a fantastic life! Her joy exuded from every pore as she told about the life she had created for herself. Her eyes sparkled as she told about the synchronicity that is ever-present and how whatever she needs to happen, naturally does.

She told story after story of how she would be thinking of what she wanted or needed, and by some odd or random circumstance, it would be delivered. She talked about dialing a wrong number and having it later turn out to be the very mechanism that delivered another of her desires. And, when she gets a feeling that she needs to do or say a particular thing, she does. She doesn't question or second guess; she just trusts that there is a reason and follows her instincts. And you know what? There always is a reason—always.

Call it synchronicity, manifesting or the law of attraction at work, but the fact is that she is in tune—her inner and outer worlds match. Her thoughts, words, beliefs and actions are in harmony—there's no dissonance of doubt or fear disrupting the connection. She expects her world to work that way and it does.

Obviously, you don't get to that high level of harmony overnight. Like anything, it takes practice. The first thing you have to do is start listening to your inner voice—your "gut instinct." It may take a little while to figure out what's a message from your inner guidance system and what is, as the Buddhists say, your clever monkey mind at work.

So, if your inner GPS says turn right at the next block, give it a try. You might see the very thing you've been trying to find a good deal on sitting out in a yard for sale. Or, maybe you'll see an old friend you need to reconnect with—or meet a new one. At worst, you'll just hear that pesky GPS voice say "recalculating…" and you can give it another try on the next block!

Start listening and live your joy!
