Hannah Dyer’s crazy mother was abusive and an alcoholic. At the age of sixty she adopted an infant, and now that she’s dead, Hannah must raise the child. But fighting the effects of severe burns sustained in childhood may be all that Hannah can manage. Defined and alienated by both emotional and physical scars, Hannah fears that she might be abusive and crazy, too.
Burden of Breath alternates between the intervening years since the fire and the present as Hannah struggles to separate from her mother’s crippling influence - even from the grave. Anger and isolation force Hannah to confront her emotional and physical damage, and she transforms her life in ways she could never have imagined.

Billy Cantrell, normally a highly motivated student, is having the biggest crisis of his life. He has fallen madly in love with the hottest babe in his class.
There's only one problem: she already has a boyfriend, who happens to be a low-achieving dude with a totally crude 'tude--in other words, the exact opposite of Billy.
What's a guy like Billy to do? Well, he's going to do a major makeover, that's what. No more Mr. Nice Guy. No more trying to please his teachers or parents. To win the girl of his dreams, Billy will turn himself into a LOVE THUG. Then he'll have to outduel his competitor in a real-life punkathon to see who ends up as the new King of the Hill.
Will Billy triumph and win his dearly beloved or go down in flames?
LOVE THUG is a romantic comedy--full of love, heartache, and silliness. Anyone who's ever been crazy in love will identify with this story of kids doing what they do best: following their dream no matter where it takes them, no matter what the cost.

Sean McDermott is a private detective in New York City, it says so right on his business card. It's an ok job, but it isn't as exciting as most people think, and that's fine by him. He makes it a rule not to get involved in active police cases or in any case where people are likely to get hurt--especially him. So why does the mob suddenly want him dead? Sure it's all a mistake, but dead from a mistake is still dead.
Taking advice from his friend, the Juke, he starts on a cross country drive to LA (what can I tell you, he has a few phobias, and flying is just one of them), where he figures he'll be safe and makes it as far as Mystic Falls, New Mexico before the borrowed Mercedes conks out. Mystic Falls? Think Green Acres--without the sophistication.
It should have been easy. All he had to do was lie low and wait for the car to be fixed. A good plan too, if only the local "character" hadn't turned up missing with him fingered as the prime suspect. Now if he ever wants to get out of this sleepy desert asylum before the mob finds him, he's going to have to find her. Simple? Fat chance.

Are you having trouble falling asleep? Are you waking in the middle of the night and tossing and turning for hours only to drop off just before your alarm goes off? Is your sleep becoming something that you worry about? Then you need to read this book.
The most common reaction from readers after reading this book is - that can't work, it's too easy. But falling asleep is meant to be easy...right? The method described is simple but it does take a definite effort on your part to make it work. It's called the miraculous Kaleidoscope Method because just like magic the simple process seems to occupy your mind and let your body take over and get what it needs. The next thing you will know is it is morning. Even if you don't think it will work it still will. One of my friends was recalling her teenage daughter saying that the last thing she remembered thinking before waking up in the morning was, 'This isn't working!'.
This book is quick to read - 10 to 15 minutes should do it. It uses no drugs or equipment. Once you have paid for the book you will have the process to use for the rest of your life. It gets easier and faster each time you use it. Knowing you can get back to sleep quickly will stop you from worrying about waking up. You will stop waking up so often. My favorite part - sometimes you can feel your body falling asleep; it's like receiving a shot of anesthetic and as it spreads from limb to limb they fall asleep. That's when you know you are just about to drop off. There is a checklist to ensure you are not doing something during the day that is stopping you from sleeping at night. It works even 30 minutes before your alarm is set to go off. It puts you back in charge of your sleep.

Dahlia couldn’t have fallen in love with Jonas at a more inconvenient time. Not only is she about to move from the US to Italy, her enigmatic dreams about an 18th-century Italian soldier are playing tricks on her mind. While her daily life is taken over by her turbulent relationship with Jonas, her dreams are dominated by an Italian soldier who lived more than 200 years ago… She enters a balancing act between dream and reality, in which she is thrown back and forth between the past and the future. What happens to Dahlia after she falls asleep? Will the two worlds she lives in eventually collide?
Dahlia is conflicted about her imminent departure. After many sleepless nights (caused by arguments and steamy make-up sex), Dahlia and Jonas decide she should still move to Italy. The lovers struggle with the strains of their long-distance relationship. As if that wasn’t enough for Dahlia, she starts dreaming about the life of Vincenzo, an Italian soldier who deserts Napoleon Bonaparte’s army in 1797. These life-like flashbacks raise her curiosity: what is the nature of her dreams? Are they figments of her imagination or memories from a parallel life?
This work of literary fiction intertwines a contemporary romance with the concept of time travel. Go on a voyage to 18th-century Italy and accompany the charismatic Dahlia on her quest to love and enlightenment.
Are the people from our pasts truly inside of us, in one way or another? How could Dahlia’s life still be connected to Vincenzo’s fate? Is she strong enough to overcome the challenges she is facing?
