***You will either LOVE this controversial book or you will HATE it. If you have no sense of humor, DO NOT BUY IT.***
  • ‘I’m over forty. I don’t have a blankie. I have vodka.’
  • Note: this is not a book of advice, how-to, or self-help. The author deconstructs stereotypes with satire. Totally different concept.
  • ‘I write about men, women, sex, & chocolate. My experiences, my truth, my martinis.’
  • *Note: Thompson employs hashtags (i.e., the # sign) in her collection. Google it. These are not typos, people #deargod.
  • Looking for a humorous take on family relationships or love and romance? Look no further.
  • Praise for The Mancode: Exposed – already a #1 bestseller in Marriage, Parenting & Families AND Parenting & Relationships!
–As a long time warrior in the Battle of the Sexes, I would’ve won a lot more skirmishes had I had a copy of Mancode in my saddle. Reaching back toward my shotgun, I would’ve found this collection. Instead of shooting the man, I could’ve said, “Stop acting like a man!” Buy Mancodeand stop wasting bullets. ~ Beth Wareham, author Power of No
–Finally! A woman who gets what I’m going through every day, from that whole spitting thing to my deep abiding love for chocolate. Well done! ~ Amber Scott, author of #1 Kindle bestsellers IRISH MOON, FIERCE DAWN, WANTED
–Mancode: Exposed is a scathingly funny, rapid fire and heartfelt look at men. Author Rachel Thompson delivers a satirical piece that invokes strong shades of Penny Marshall and Seth McFarlane. ~ Casey Ryan, Host & Creator, Cutting Room Floor radio program

Passions flare and alliances shift in this breathtaking story of survival set during the final days of World War II in Hungary. Young Zeno dreams of moving to Budapest and becoming a great filmmaker in the Hungarian film studios. Her husband is a wealthy industrialist with the power to create – or crush – Zeno. Despite Catherine’s protests, Zeno moves to Budapest and takes a servant’s job in the Steiner house, shining her husband’s shoes while hearing the family’s secrets. All Zeno and Catherine have are precious hours in a secret apartment, tucked above the uneasy streets of a city at war, their affair a flimsy wall against a future no one can see or predict. Until it arrives.

FREE until 2nd October 2012
From her gorgeous husband to her acclaimed cooking classes, Candace Roach's life looks nearly perfect from the outside. Well, appearances can be deceiving. Her husband, Larry, has three unruly addictions that drive her to the brink--zombie movies, cilantro, and having sex with other women. Luckily, her best friend Annie Ogden is back from Iraq and armed with a private investigator's license and a fierce determination to see Candace happy again.

Together, the women uncover the ridiculous extent of Larry's infidelity. He needs to be punished, that much is clear. But how can they hit him where it counts? Oh, if only she could find a way to tap into those three little addictions--what a lesson that would be. Italy is calling, as are the zombies in the night, as suburban housewife Candace Roach transforms herself into the ultimate fidelity vigilante, complete with a badass motorcycle, a very small pistol, and the nom de guerre
"Zombie Candy."

The Delphi Chronicle by Russell Blake
Genre - Action / Adventure
Rating - PG13
4.3 (34 reviews)
FREE until 29th September 2012
The Delphi Chronicle is a serial trilogy - a story that unfolds over three installments, with each continuing in the next episode, usually with a cliffhanger ending, on all but the last installment. This first book, The Manuscript, chronicles the saga of NY private eye Michael Derrigan, as he unwittingly comes into possession of a manuscript that will change the world order if its secrets are aired.

Clandestine factions of the U.S. government will do anything to keep the story buried, & a trail of butchery follows Derrigan as he races for his life in a chase that spans from New York, to Mexico, to Havana. An epic roller-coaster ride of a thriller, The Delphi Chronicle's unflinching & often disturbing twists & turns question the nature of reality & of the integrity of our governments in a post-modern world of lies, deceit and betrayal.

Rise of the Fall by Ivory Autumn
Genre - YA Fantasy
Rating - PG13
4.2 (10 reviews)
FREE until 29th September 2012
This book is altogether a book. It has words, which all good books should have, and pictures too, not to mention my very own beautiful scribbling. (Which Ivory does not approve of)

It has nasty evil creatures that may be too frightening for children under the age of 0. Also it may not be suited to those old souls that are over the age 200, as there are lots of words, and old people's eyes may fail them on such a lengthy document.

Oh yes, this book it is not for sour-snouts with big noses, and large mouths. If you are such a individual, a book on how to cook grubs would be better suited to you. It is however, a book for curious young-hearted people, who like to spend their extra time in the company of talking plants, Twiskers, elves, Foglockers, Sontars, and other extraordinary beings

Signed, Gogindy, Twisker of the Dandelion Den

Rejected: A Four Week Mini Bible Study by Heather Bixler
Genre - Christian / NonFiction
Rating - G
4.2 (8 reviews)
FREE until 30th September 2012
In this four week mini Bible Study you will discover the power of acceptance in your life. The acceptance we all have from God, and why it's important to accept our self, flaws and all. Rejection is a powerful force in our life and our Christian walk. It effects our confidence in God and His call on our life. But little do we know the power we have to let go of the control it has on us.

Rejection is also an attitude that results in an action that looks a lot like putting space between you and someone who has hurt you. I pray this book will bless you in a way where you will release idols and embrace acceptance in your life rather than the lie of rejection.
