Forever After (a dark and funny fantasy novel)

Forever After follows Michael Holland, a grim reaper in a grim town. An embittered and melancholic man who struggles to grasp the purpose of his own existence, or lack thereof. He is a minuscule cog in a monumental machine and knows less of his role than those surrounding him -- from his boss, the mighty Angel of Death, to his friend and flatmate Chip: a grubby midget tooth fairy with an addiction to pot and procrastination.

Brittleside is a dank, dark and decrepit town, and Michael Holland is its reluctant reaper. From dealing with the drunks, the druggies and the wasters, to tracking an escaped demon who believes he is Santa Claus; Forever After follows his escapades over four dark and humorous tales.

A paranormal and comic romp through a fantasy world where the mythical, the fantastical, the insane and the typical combine. A mix of dystopia and comedy, if the works of Philip K. Dick and Terry Pratchett were to ever procreate, Forever After would be the bastard child of their creative communion.

The first book in a family saga trilogy, this is the story of a 23 year old woman’s journey to bring peace to her feuding family, while finding direction in her own life.

Best of 2012 Book List, Suspense Magazine.
A best seller in Amazon's humorous fiction category.

"A truly enjoyable read. Perfect for a cozy evening snuggling under a blanket, blocking out the world. The sequences of Silvia's recollections into the past with her strong willed, born ahead of her time grandmother, the jobs she has held, and lost as it were, are nothing short of brilliant."
Chapters and Chats Book Reviews

"I found myself thinking about the characters long after I finished this, so I'm happy to hear there is a sequel coming up. It makes one proud of the human spirit, what it can overcome when it is motivated by love to do so. My mother was a "Silvia" in her lifetime, and for the same reason, so the message here mattered to me. Thanks to this author for giving us that insight without dragging it out into a long, dismal and depressing novel." Amazon Vine Review

"The author weaves a tale that is a moving and realistic portrayal of a dysfunctional family with enough drama and humorous family situations that will keep the reader engaged and entertained, while providing a witty sense of humor and subtle messages of life lessons to extend the olive branch and learn to live, love and forgive." Jersey Girl Book Reviews

"The author did a great job of showing what Silvia was experiencing as she tried to reunite the members of her hot-headed Italian family."

Waking up in the hospital to find wires snapped to your chest, tubes jammed in your veins, and handcuffs tearing at your wrists is a horrible way to start your day — especially when you don’t remember who you are or how you got there.

That was just the beginning of “Johnny’s” bad day. He was poked. He was prodded. He was told he had done horrible things. Then the cops came and hauled him away. They tossed him in jail with nothing but a notebook full of strange letters he had supposedly written to friends and family. It was a conspiracy of epic proportions. And Johnny’s only hope for proving he’s not the criminal they say he is are the letters an old man claiming to be his father gave him.

Seven Strange Years is a compilation of letters that tell the tales of a mad traveler buzzing around the country wreaking havoc wherever he lands, pieced together in jail as Johnny scours the letters for evidence that might save him from years in prison. And reading letters rife with tales of freedom and adventure is nothing short of torture when you’re stuck in jail.

The time is tomorrow. A meteor storm has allowed monsters of every order to run free across the planet. Vampires, werewolves, ghosts, demons and other atrocities are the new bad guys on the block. To contend with this prevalent threat, various law enforcement agencies have created special divisions to deal with the monster epidemic. LAPD has created Monster Vice, and its senior cop is Dick Pitts -- a specialist in monster extermination. On a daily basis, Pitts stakes vampires, executes werewolves, and exorcises demons.

When his partner is killed, he is assigned a new partner named Curadel -- who is in fact Dracula -- a greatly misunderstood Dracula through the ages and a Dracula who has become a cop to help humanity deal with the vampire plague. Now, Pitts and Dracula must team up and fight a Grand Master - the most powerful vampire in the world - who is hell bent on transforming every child in Los Angeles into a bloodsucking killing machine. Pitts and Dracula create a special platoon of 'fang warriors' -- their mission: to find the Grand Master and shut down his evil plans before the streets of LA are flooded in a sea of blood.
