With a foreward by shaman Christina Pratt, in the revised second edition of this bestselling fantastical memoir, Kelley Harrell chronicles a modern shamanic journey from pain, to healing and accepting a calling to work as a soul healer of others.
Groundbreaking at the time of its first publication in 2004, still no other modern shamanic work shares an experience of soul healing told from within the shamanic narrative, bringing relatable and credible insight to contemporary soul healing.
Through that rare glimpse into her experiences traversing the spirit world, Harrell’s story becomes the reader’s adventure.
Not always easy to read, there are unflinching passages examining hurtful childhood memories, confrontations with overzealous spirit guides, and challenging personal obstacles she must overcome in order to heal.

This story is a present-day twist on the biblical story of Jacob and his mother Rebecca plotting together against the elderly father Isaac, who is lying on his deathbed, in order to get their hands on the inheritance, and on the power in the family. This is no old fairy tale. Its power is here and now, in each one of us.
Listening to Yankle telling his take on events, we understand the bitter rivalry between him and his brother. We become intimately engaged with every detail of the plot, and every shade of emotion in these flawed, yet fascinating characters. He yearns to become his father's favorite son, seeing only one way open to him, to get that which he wants: deceit.
"What if my father would touch me," asks Yankle. In planning his deception, it is not love for his father, nor respect for his age that drives his hesitation--rather, it is the fear to be found out. And so--covering his arm with the hide of a kid, pretending to be that which he is not--he is now ready for the last moment he is going to have with his father.
Shades of Grace - Ranay James
Genre - Romance
Rating - PG13

“Can I take it from your reaction that I have convinced you to forgive me,” Cullen asked seductively pulling away from Grace’s lips, sending a shock wave of pleasure jolting through her. He was so sure and confident in his ability to melt the object of his attention.
“Forgive you? No, Marshal McKinnon, I just wanted you to have a taste of what you can never have.”
In this third installment of The McKinnon Legends, we see Cullen McKinnon, Brother to the Seventh Duke of Seabridge deeply entrenched in a tale of murder, assassination attempts, and the mystery of who is Gray Martin.
Cullen is used to having his way with women. He treats them well and respectfully, not that it matters. Most of these ultra-easy conquests mean nothing to him. The personification of sin itself in a pair of Wranglers, Cullen is well connected socially, politically, and physically. He is all about control when it comes to his professional life. As a U.S. Marshal based out of San Antonio, Texas, he has to be in control. That goes double for his love life and control in that arena is easy. There is zero risk of him loosing his head over a woman, because his heart already belongs to his brother’s wife. And he has certainly come to terms with the fact that Morgan is certainly a woman he can never have, ever. Immortalizing her, he remains comfortable in unrequited love. It is just easier then letting it go.
As a lawman, Cullen is naturally suspicious. When he contracts with Amazing Grace Genealogy Services to locate any record of his long lost nephew, Decklyn McKinnon suspicion raises the longer he works with the company’s representative. Something about Gray Martin peaks his interest. Unable to leave well enough alone, Cullen inadvertently blows Grace’s cover exposing her to the assassin she has been on the run from for the past three years.
Cullen has a decision to make, but is he prepared to let the ghost of Morgan go?

Buck, who has been fighting the French since he was twelve, also finds the ton confining and sympathizes with Fanny/Rosalind's plight as a properly reared young lady.
Together, they make a dangerous pair, straddling the line between propriety and scandal, indulging in a masquerade in daylight, riding together in a phaeton race, and laying plans for Fanny/Rosalind to play a role in Covent Garden Theater. Will Buck confide his secrets and overcome his life-long aversion to marriage? Can someone as headstrong and impetuous as Rosalind ever settle for such a union?
